

MISSION
Team H.O.T. provides guidance and instruction for boys and girls of all skill levels on the fundamentals of basketball (elementary-High School).
Team H.O.T.’s goals for its players are:

To develop basketball skills (i.e., master fundamentals of the game) and improve as a player

Coach "Rod" Williams
Meet Rod Williams, the heart and soul behind Team H.O.T Inc, a competitive youth organization based in Montgomery County, MD. With over two decades of ecperience in mentoring children from diverse backgrounds through th epoerwe of youth sports, Rod serves as the founder and president of this nonprofit dedicated to instilling values of hard work, dedication and self confidence his players. Drawing upon his passion for leadership and community service, Rod believes in fostering good sportsmanship and respect amoun the next generation of leaders. Through his guidance and the organizations sybol of courage and strength embodied by the lion, Rod Williams continues to inspire and shape the future of our youth.

Coach Shememe
Coach Shememe Pronounced (Shuh mem) has coach 5+ years of women's basketball for AAU and a High School in the Montgomery County area. Ages included are 13-14 yrs. of age and girls High School team at Good Counsel. Extensive experience as a Conditioning Coach, Stretch Therapist, and a Personal Trainer for NBA Men's basketball players in the DMV area.

Former Bullis School scholarship basketball player located in Potomac, MD. Received a division 1 full Women's basketball scholarship at Temple University.

Coach " Jose' " Maldonado
Coach Jose' brings over 14 years of experience coaching youth sports including flag football and basketball. A lifelong resident of Montgomery County, Maryland, he has been a dedicated part of the local community for more than 40 years. He joined TeamHOT organization in 2020, bringing with him a "defense-first coaching philosphy - believing that a strong foundation on defense sets the tone for overall team success. When he's not on the field or court, Coach Jose' enjoys reading mystery novels, watching suspense movies and taking long walks :)
